The SSC MASTERS REGATTA will be held on Saturday, April 26. This is an open regatta. The Skipper must be 50 years of age. The entry fee is $5 and there is no preregistration. The skipper's meeting is at 10:00 AM. Drive to the end of the Lights Ferry Rd extension in Aqualand Marina and turn right. The meeting will be on the left just past the bath house. See you at the Regatta!

The LORMAND CUP is SSC'S single handed race and it is held on May 10. There is a perpetual trophy that the winner is given at the Commodore's Ball in January This is a club race and the entry fee is $5. The skipper's meeting is at 10:00 AM and the base start time is noon. Come out and enjoy the challenge.

The Newcomer's Race was held on May 17 and seven boats were in the race. In the spinnaker fleet Linda Webster was first and Paul Warner was second; in the non-spinnaker fleet Beau Cutts was first and Waine Ratliff was second; in the cruiser feet George Chretlen was first, Dennis Abell was second and Duane Truet was Third. The BBQ event was attended by the SSC sailors and the Barefoot SC Women Skippers sailors. A good time was had by all.
