Southern Sailing Club is Proud to Present the "Love the Lake" Open Regatta and Rally, Benefiting the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper.
September 11-13, 2015

As Southern Sailors, Lake Lanier is our home away from home, it’s where we race, play and relax throughout the year. Some of our fondest memories were made with our friends and family on the lake. So this year, Southern Sailing wants to show the lake some love by hosting a series of events that will raise money and create awareness for the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) and to do our part in keeping our lake clean and safe.

This year we are hosting an open Regatta and Rally to raise money for the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. As part of the two day event based at Sunrise Cove Marina, we will organize a shore sweep to help create awareness.  Saturday night, live music will be provided at the marina clubhouse by George Price Band. The party starts at 5:30, dinner around 7:00 and music around 7:30. At the party, we will sell raffle tickets and have a silent auction raise additional funds.

Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. Additional donations beyond the minimum registration fee are encouraged and that additional portion is fully tax deductible.
